King of Leyland is a hoodie inspired by Mini Cooper S MKII racer
We were still in 1959 when Sir Alec Issigonis' masterpiece stunned and conquered the whole world. It was born to be one of the most practical, rational and cheap ways of motoring but it ended being much more than that. It was a car that won buyers not exclusively by their wallets buy also by their hearts for being cute and desirable.
Yet the biggest surprise was in the way it became a favorite of racers and performance car lovers for its agility and ground-covering capabilities.
When British Leyland was formed, the Mini was already on his second generation and it continued for years as the star and the cash-cow of all the company line-up.
The design on this hoodie celebrates Mini MKII’s commercial and racing success.
