901 t-shirt is inspired by the early Porsche 911
If you ask someone to name the four most popular European cars ever made, there must 90% of chances that the person would say VW Beetle, Citroën DS, Mini and Porsche 911. The most evident outsider of the bunch is the 911. A car that wasn’t intended for the masses, which had no practical concerns and which wasn’t much advanced for its day, let alone for the decades to come. And yet, after practically seven generations it remains the most bare, unchanged and recognizable automotive shape of all.
This t-shirt created by artist Susana Real was inspired by the interior of the first generation of this automotive icon. 901 was to be the name of the now legendary Porsche, but due to pending legal rights in favor of Peugeot, the code had to be dropped.
This t-shirt is made from 100% cotton fabric ensuring comfort and durability. The illustration is printed with a technology that offers vivid colors for dozens of washes at water temperatures up to 100ºF/40ºC
